We’re back at this week! I’m here to talk to you minions about one of our most venomously rad sponsors, Pig Iron Public House. The Lang Brothers have been adding their talents to the beer industry since 2008 when they opened Steel City Samiches Bar and Grille in Indiana, PA. They didn’t stop there. Their next jump was into Twisted Jimmy’s Bar and Lounge on the campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Clearly these guys have a knack for opening great, local restaurants, so it was not a surprise when they set their sights on the need for a great place to strap on a food bag North of Pittsburgh.
Cranberry got its first taste of Pig Iron Public House in 2015. Hosting an incredible 66 draught lines, serving a wide array of local, regional and national craft beers. Not to mention, many of the breweries you find at PGH Brewtal Beer Fest! can also be found Pig Iron Public House. Be sure to try out their exclusive House Beer Local 66 brewed by North Country Brewing of Slippery Rock, PA.
Their restaurant doesn’t just serve up excellent beer, they certainly have put their own twist some traditional American fare along with some regional favorites. I can personally attest that the Bo Darville is the beelzebub’s knees!
Okay, if you aren’t hungry enough to eat a baby, I’m not sure what’s wrong with you! Get on over to Pig Iron Public House! Tell them you heard about them through PGH Brewtal Beer Fest!
PS: They will definitely be on site at the fest! They may have food too. TBD.
